Restoring Performance – Conserving a High-Tech Soil Cleaning Installation
Soil remediation (PFAS removal) equipment
Braspenning Group has been commissioned by DEME to fully conserve all components of a large-scale soil remediation installation. This advanced system is designed to remove PFAS from contaminated soil – a crucial step in protecting our environment and supporting sustainable land use. In this project the Braspenning Indoor is refurbishing and recoating all components of a PFAS soil remediation installation for DEME. The dismantled unit, previously in Norway, is processed in stages at VSS Benningbroek before arriving at our facility for industrial coating, ahead of final assembly in Den Helder.
Originally operating in Norway, the installation was completely dismantled by VSS and transported to the Netherlands. At VSS in Benningbroek, each component was carefully disassembled before being delivered to our facility for treatment.
The first batch of parts has already undergone our comprehensive industrial coating process – arriving worn and weathered, leaving with a renewed, high-performance finish. Once the entire installation has been treated, it will be reassembled and put back into operation in Den Helder.
At Braspenning Group, we combine industrial coating expertise with environmental responsibility, delivering protection and durability where it matters most.
