De Back Conserveringsgroep, part of the Braspenning Group, is hiring a Buyer / Work Preparation Specialist based in Velsen-Noord. In this full-time role (38 hrs/week), you manage procurement, cost estimation, and work preparation for industrial blasting and coating projects across the IJmond region. For one of our subsidiaries, De Back Conserveringsgroep in Velsen-Noord, we are looking for a Buyer / Work Planner for our blasting and coating projects in the IJmond region (Heemskerk, Beverwijk, Velsen and surrounding areas). Are you someone who can effortlessly switch between technical insight, planning and cost control? Then we have a key role for you within our organisation.
What will you be doing?
As a Buyer / Work Planner, you are the central link between procurement, cost calculation and execution. You prepare projects from A to Z and lay the foundation for successful industrial operations. You will take on a wide range of responsibilities, including procurement (costing) for projects across De Back Conserveringsgroep.
Priority #1:
Ensuring procurement is accurately and efficiently processed in Exact Online. You make sure everything is correct upfront — no issues afterwards.
You will also take over various responsibilities from Project Management and the QHSE (KAM) department, alongside other tasks such as:
Cost Calculation
- Preparing cost calculations and determining required material quantities
- Arranging transport notifications
- Setting up project documentation files
- Maintaining time registration records
- Assisting the QHSE Coordinator
- Coordinating with execution teams and project management
- Work Preparation
- Calculating procurement needs
- Requesting and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Analysing specifications, drawings and technical documentation
Your profile:
- MBO level or higher educational level (a technical background is a plus)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Exact Online (or the ability to learn quickly)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain oversight
- Analytical mindset with cost awareness
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Proactive, communicative and hands-on attitude
