Projectmanager Scaffolding Services

350x250_communicatie.jpg Braspenning Steigerbouw B.V. is a leading Dutch scaffolding company specialising in the rental and installation of safe steel and aluminium scaffolding structures across the Netherlands. We are looking for an experienced and driven Scaffolding Project Manager to take full ownership of Dutch projects from initial planning through to completion. Based at our head office in Amsterdam, you will coordinate teams, manage budgets, ensure compliance with safety standards and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and the Managing Director. If you thrive under pressure, lead by example and know how to get the best out of a team — we want to hear from you.

You build more than scaffolding — you build the future.

Braspenning Steigerbouw B.V. is renowned for the rental and installation of safe steel and aluminium scaffolding structures. We deliver scaffolding solutions of any scale, executed by specialists at a fast-growing and highly professional scaffolding company operating throughout the Netherlands. Our motto is simple: always create a safe workplace at height. Are you the resilient professional who not only runs a scaffolding project but also brings people along, anticipates problems and energises an entire team? Then we have something for you.

The role:

Braspenning Steigerbouw B.V. is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Project Manager to coordinate activities across a diverse range of projects. You will manage scaffolding teams in the Netherlands, oversee scheduling and budgets, and take full control — from the first planning line to the final bolt. You are someone who is just as sharp on safety as on costs and who knows how to motivate a team in the most challenging environments. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that both your own work and that of the project preparation team is carried out to the highest standard. Your base is our head office on the north side of Amsterdam, though you will be deployed across various locations throughout the Netherlands.

What you'll do:

You report directly to the Managing Director of Steigerbouw B.V. Your responsibilities are wide-ranging and include:

  • Translating client agreements into definite objectives and clear planning.
  • Scheduling personnel and equipment efficiently, thoughtfully and with a constant focus on quality.
  • Briefing and motivating supervisors and team leaders so that everyone knows exactly what is expected of them.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying additional work and keeping costs tightly under control.
  • Organising and chairing Toolbox meetings on health, safety and environment, as well as on-site project meetings.
  • Reporting clearly to the MD at head office and sharing updates with the client at the agreed frequency.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for complaints, questions and challenges — and resolving them.
  • Supervising compliance with health, safety and environmental standards (VCA) and leading by example.
  • Consulting with the HSE coordinator and team members on working methods and sequence of operations.
  • Handling complaints and potential claims regarding quality and delivery, and investigating (near-)accidents.

What you bring:

You don't need to be a superhero — but you do need to be someone who takes responsibility and brings others along with them. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a strong leader: you think along, adjust course and maintain oversight.
  • Communicates effectively — whether speaking with management, operatives, clients or subcontractors.
  • Can set up and monitor effective project preparation.
  • Is in good physical condition, stress-resistant and comfortable with irregular hours and changing work locations.
  • Works as a supervisor who is genuinely approachable to all stakeholders.
  • Is open to further training and has a positive attitude towards courses and certifications.
  • Not only knows quality, safety and environmental requirements — but actively champions them.

What we offer:

A challenging role with real responsibility and autonomy. You will be joining an organisation with a long-standing reputation in the scaffolding industry, where your expertise truly matters. We offer a competitive market-rate salary, a strong team around you and the freedom to manage projects in your own way — with the full support of head office.
